Shortly after graduating from the University of Strathclyde with a first class honours degree in Finance, Alastair joined Gillespie & Anderson in 2003. After completing his professional training, he was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 2006 going on to become a partner in Gillespie & Anderson in 2010.
Benefiting from the varied training environment within the firm, Alastair has experience in working with many businesses of differing size and nature. One of his many strengths is working with clients to modernise and computerise their accounting systems to drive forward efficiencies as well as making sure clients get the most out of existing computerised systems already in place.
With banking, legal and other business contacts, Alastair is also well placed to assist and offer advice should you decide to enter into business for the first time.
