After graduating from Glasgow University, Alun joined the firm as a trainee back in 1989, and served his apprenticeship before qualifying and becoming a member of ICAS in 1993. Gaining experience in accounts and audit within the firm, whilst getting to know many of the firm’s clients, he progressed to the position of audit department manager before becoming a partner in November 2007.
Originally from Kilmarnock, Alun currently lives in Lenzie with his wife Lisa, also a qualified CA who works in the firm’s tax department. Although rarely away from the office, his interests nonetheless extend to playing (but mostly watching) football & cricket, travel and reading crime fiction.
